Morgan’s treatment

Hello , my name is Morgan blanchard . I am 20 years old and have a condition called hidradenitis suppurativa that takes over more than 50% of my body and continues to expand . In February 2012, I developed extremely painful boils and abscesses from hip to hip and under both arms and was admitted into the hospital after going to my local hospital , terrebonne general’s emergency room. From that point on I’ve had to have over 20 different surgeries and skin grafts, wound vac procedures and developed a pilonidal cyst for over a year on my tailbone that has never healed due to an infection that is traveling up my back. My belly button has had to be surgically removed also. I’ve been in long term care facilities being treated with PICC IV administered antibiotics and pain medication. After all the antibiotics and open wound care I’ve had, not one incision or wound has ever completely healed due to this disease. I am currently being treated for severe depression due to this chronic pain and enduring everything for the last 7 years to try to get this disease under control with no success. I cannot work due to many factors. I have and evidently will have open wounds all over my body and having the fear of furthering the infection. The doctor advises me I cannot chance breaking a sweat beings that it triggers my disease . I missed my entire senior year because I was in and out of AMG Long Care facility. I am unable to follow my dream of becoming a nurse. This disease has denied me of my ability to work, socialize or have any kind of normal, productive life. I have not been open to a lot of options because my body is antibiotic resistant and there is no cure .  Unfortunately with not being able to work , i need your help with medical bills and any  further procedures .  Nothing is too small and every cent is one step closer to getting the help I need ♥️
