Hi! My name is Morgan Mallory.

I sing, play a multitude of instruments, and write my own songs. My first song was written at the age of 11, and I have been obsessed with every aspect of songwriting/performance/recording ever since.

This album has been talked about and teased for about 6 years, and now it will finally be written, recorded, and released by this Spring 2015 .  Not to mention produced/engineered by the one and only Grammy Award Winning engineer, Phil Allen (Adele, P!nk, Aerosmith, Leona Lewis, Lee DeWyze)!!!

But the REALLY cool part is what will happen after the artists are paid, the album is finished, and you get your prizes. Whatever is left of the $$$ raised for this project will become a scholarship for young artists/performers to attend arts camps, college tuition, instruments, art supplies...whatever is needed for the selected applicant to chase their dream.
Additionally, every year, until the end of time, HALF of the proceeds from this album will go towards growing/replenishing that scholarship. Our collective goal should be for this scholarship to be available to help more and more young artists each year.

Growing up, I could not have afforded to go to college or attend arts camps that truly shaped the artist I am today (Young People's Theater Project / Staged!PDX)  without the aid of scholarships.
My mother has been a fine arts teacher for over 30 years, and when I asked her why she taught certain talented kids for free, she said, "Sweetie, talent knows no socioeconomic status". That stuck with me.
