Morgan Snow needs Throat Surgery

I could start this off by telling you something like "I hate to have to do this, but. . ."

It would be a lie. I wouldn't do it if I hated it. I wouldn't surrender, and ask for your help if I didn't think about all my options to pay for a surgery that has proven to be necessary. In fact, I am grateful that I live in a day and age where there is a platform that I can use to reach out to my social network, and see if I can lighten a load that seems a little too heavy for me to handle on my own.

I need help, and I need it relatively soon.

This time last year I walked away from a full-time job, benefits included to move to Nashville, and to explore the road and whereever it called me. I took a chance that I wouldn't need to use the so called health benefits that I hadn't used in the previous 4-5 years, and having never stepped foot in a doctors office once during that time. I felt healthy, I felt like I would be able to make it without insurance, at least for a year.

I have remained relatively quiet about the health problems that brought me back to Utah indefinitely. I have had serious health problems since having an abscessed wisdom tooth removed in May of this year. I have spent countless hours each week traveling to and from the Orthodontist, and Dentist trying to get my mouth and throat infections under control. Have lost 10 pounds. I had an additional mouth surgery in September to try and alleviate the infections, but to no avail. I have paid for a CAT Scan, and countless antibiotics all out of pocket, and none of this has kept the infections at bay for more than a week or two at a time in the past 5 months. As you can imagine singing has been very painful and uncomfortable for most of my gigs since May, and I have had to adapt to singing with my throat closing off to only about half of what it is normally.

I thought I had kicked it, and recently had a few weeks with nothing, but was reminded last last week that this is an urgent matter as I was bed ridden for several days with a high fever, and inflammed infected throat with some kind of unknown bacterial infection.

I plan on using the money to pay for my Tonsillectomy and possible abscess drainage/removal surgery. If I pay the total amount up front I will end up saving hundreds of dollars off the overal price. If I do so it will cost $1666.00

I will require a bare minimum of 10-14 days before I can return to work, and perhaps even longer before I can sing again (good news is that I might be able to sing higher notes with more ease after having them removed, look out Pharrel, and Justin Timberlake), so I need help with two weeks of pay for my bills to help me stay afloat while I am unable to make money from singing and my part time job as a mental health therapist.
I am hoping to raise $700.00 for bills while I recover.

My surgery is scheduled for November 9, so I am hoping to have the money before my surgery.

I want to be able to continue sharing my gifts with others, and I am hoping that I have reached enough people with these gifts and touched enough people by what I do musically for you to understand how important it is for me to be able to sing and travel without worrying about risking my health to do so. I want to continue sharing my talents with my community. I want to record a new album, and I want to be able to make the art I know I am capable of creating once I am fully recovered and healthy again.
