More Time With Nanna

This message comes far and wide from all of Nanna Vivian's loved ones.
On august 7th Vivian was diagnosed with an aggressive case of astrocytoma stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer, which has shaken our family to the core.
Following this diagnosis, the decision was made to move her from Clearwater BC to Cambpell River where her daughters could care for her in her fight.
A cancer diagnosis in the family has a way of putting things into perspective in the blink of an eye. A year ago, Vivian was doing what she does best, living life to its fullest. Being the vagabond of the family, she has a way of lighting up a room with her tales of adventure and making people laugh with her stories and quirky personality. That being said cancer doesn't discriminate and will swoop in when you least expect it. We will not back down.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help with travel expenses back and forth to Victoria and from the Island (Hotels, Gas, and Ferries), as well as treatments that aren't covered. These treatments will give her body a fighting chance throughout her radiation. Vivian has been given a mere couple of months to say goodbye to her family. With radiation plus her hyperbaric therapies (which aren't covered under medical), we could have a year, maybe even more to spend with her.
Thank you for your time and for listening to her story; hug your loved ones. We are thankful for each and every one of you, even if its just 1$ or a prayer sent her way. Anything helps.
