Imagine you are just living your life and are told that there is now a limit, a shortening of years, an end. AND it is out of your control. That your cells have decided to wage war on your body.
Well, that is Rebecca Wulkan's new reality. She has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and has been given an indeterminate amount of time to live. Wife, sister, daughter, granddaughter, mother of 5 boys, friend, life coach and so much more to so many people.
Rebecca has started treatment to rid her body of estrogen, so that the cancer-shrinking drugs have a chance to do their job. This is new medical treatment and will continue for as long as it is working to keep the cancer from growing and spreading.
Along with cancer drugs, there are also alternative therapies that have helped others live longer and stronger, although many are expensive and time consuming.
We are asking for your help and financial support for the Wulkan family, as Rebecca does everything she can to live the best she can, for as long as she can.
This includes therapies not covered under insurance or the Medical services plan, time spent away from work for treatment, childcare for times when she and/or Dave need to be somewhere, travel expenses for treatments, help at home and for the family to deal, process and work through their new life reality.
Please Join me in giving the Wulkan family time to be a family, while we learn to cherish the moment and live our best lives NOW.
