More time for Lou

Our best friend Louise has been battling colon cancer since June 2020. Since then, Lou has been through three major surgeries, Sabr treatment, and very nearly died due to an adverse reaction to chemotherapy.

Lou has shown admirable levels of bravery at every turn, but despite her attempts to keep the cancer at bay with a diet of raw veg, supplements, and crazy numbers of carrots, unfortunately, she is now in the situation where the cancer has spread too much for further surgery and treatments offered are limited to palliative care.

Lou is a fighter, and in spite of the situation, she refuses to let it beat her. Her next step is to seek advice from private consultants who can prescribe off-label drugs. These have proved successful in blocking cancer pathways and slowing the progression of the cancer. Unfortunately, this comes at a cost that just isn’t possible for Lou, who has had to stop work due to the cancer.

All Lou wants, as anyone would, is more time with her 7-year-old daughter Matilda and her husband Steve. She’s not ready to die, and we’re not ready to lose her.

We know times are hard, but we really would appreciate any donations, no matter how small.
