More than tuition...

In the spring of her 5th-grade year, Willow socially transitioned. After the 6th grade, I knew I had to seek a school alternative for Willow. While the administration was supportive, the kids were genuinely awful. They would deliberately misgender her and use her birth name. When Willow attended public school, every day was a struggle just to get her out of the house. She had anxiety and frequent insomnia. I didn't even realize the impact until recently when Willow expressed the fear of going outside alone because she didn't feel safe.
Last fall, Willow started at a small non-profit community school where inclusivity and diversity are part of its mission. This school however is tuition based. I had an initial budget plan to pay for the $7800/year ($1600 for the after-school program) tuition which included the use of child support. However, within a couple of months of starting at the school, child support stopped which created an incredible challenge.
I HATE admitting that I am struggling to pay for tuition but this is not about me. This is about Willow. Attending this school is more than a luxury, it's life-saving. I am putting aside my pride and humbly asking for financial support to pay Willow's educational expenses.
I deeply appreciate any assistance that is received and it will directly benefit Willow and allow her to stay in the school that has embraced her with friends that accept and love her for exactly who she is.
