SYNOPSIS — After a drunken night out, roommates Ivory and Kira return home together, with their flirting hinting at Ivory’s deeper feelings for her best friend. But when Ivory enters their bedroom, she discovers that Kira has been asleep in their room for hours—and the person Ivory thought she spent the night with is still in the house. As the clone begins to reveal its true nature, Ivory must confront both the terrifying reality of what has entered their home and the love she has been hiding from Kira. After Ivory's many attempts to protect her best friend, she loses her in the process— leading her to fall into the wrong arms for the sake of love.

WHY NOW? — This story speaks to anyone who has mistaken kindness for love, or let their desires cloud their judgment. Beyond the horror and romance, the film captures the emotional roller coaster of falling for a friend, and the painful consequences that come with it. Queer narratives have historically centered around themes of homophobia, rejection, and the struggle to come out. While those stories remain important, there is also a need for queer stories that simply allow queer people to exist, love, desire, and make mistakes. This film offers that authenticity through a relationship that explores those complexities.
