More Love Less War (Phase 2)
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Wakrot Chinshaka, and I'm raising funds for my project, More Love Less War (MLLW), Phase Two.
The first phase of MLLW was a breathtaking celebration of the intersection of tradition and modernity. We focused on using rich colors and symbols from the city of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, to promote peace in a city plagued by over 20 years of ethno-religious conflicts. By incorporating unique fashion styles, colors, and cultural patterns from the diverse ethnic and religious groups of the Plateau, we created designs aimed at building a strong campaign to end these conflicts. Our goal was to unite the colors and patterns of both settler and indigenous tribes, symbolizing our desire for peace and unity.
In this new phase, we are taking our campaign to the next level by integrating it into urban fashion and culture. We aim to bring together people from different communities on a neutral ground, projecting a unified message: MORE LOVE, LESS WAR. This phase will also showcase our new urban styles, featuring our uniquely designed fabric worn by real, everyday, ethno-religiously diverse people from our target community in Jos, Plateau State, engaging in real, unifying fellowship.
How Funds Will Be Used:
