More Heart Than Scars (MHTS) is a nonprofit 501 c3 foundation, whose mission is to help those with physical, mental or emotional scars realize they can live beyond them with more heart than scars. We have taken adaptive athlete support to the next level by assisting multiple adaptive athletes of all abilities, in completing multiple OCR Races. In order to serve even more athletes, we are in need of a new all- terrain wheelchair, vital in helping our paraplegic and quadriplegic athletes, realize their goals and boost their achievements in OCR’s. We have completed over 100 events/races 4 countries. And 20 States , to date. For our athletes, completing these races is not just about winning medals. It goes deeper, into help us to facilitate and encourage others to live boldly and to help people transcend and even embrace – visible and invisible scars, trauma, and loss, by overcoming obstacles together.
