Support Disco's Life-Saving Vet Care

I hate to be doing this but unfortunately sometimes that is life…

On the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 29th my beloved Disco girl started having horrific (too graphic for the internet) symptoms out of nowhere. Since I was out of town, my wonderful amazing mother rushed her to the emergency vet where the situation became so drastic, they ended up having to save her life. Her little body went into anaphylactic shock from what they perceive to be an insect bite and started shutting down almost immediately. They were able to save her but not without many tests, injections, and resources.

As many of you who own pets know, we’d do anything for them but you also know that the veterinary system can be very costly with no options for reduced rates or payments plans. My pet insurance covers a small portion but unfortunately this multiple-day visit has become more than just a financial nuisance for me. We have also learned that there will be ongoing tests and care that will accrue further costs even though she was finally able to return home on Halloween morning.

Any bit helps to cover her emergency veterinary costs and keep our little girl gang afloat.
