Aim:
To bring together members of the Moravian Church Youth and Youth Leaders in Tanzania for 2-3 week exploration trip.
 
Objectives: 
- To learn more about the hertiage of the Moravian Church in Tanzania as well as the culture of its people and the country,
- To connect with brothers and sisters from across the world, learn from each other and stengthen bonds,
- To be prayful over all those we meet and all the places we visit so that may tell others about what we have seen and done,
- To take hold of an opportunity and make memories to last a lifetime - like an investment in the future of the Moravian church.
 
Whats the money for?:
- To support the overall costs of putting on a successful trip,
- To assist with the funds given by the Unity and its Provinces that have paid for the trip to be organised,

From the 10th - 25th August 2022, the Unity Youth Committee of the Worldwide Moravian Church will bring together youth and youth leaders from across the globe, in Tanzania, to take part in the fourth; Unity Youth Heritage Tour.

 

The tour is designed to offer the tour delegates an opportunity to explore and experience some of the history of the Worldwide Moravian church as well as the churches role in its local area, the lives of its members, and the culture of the host country. Previous tours have seen delegates travelling to Europe and the US but this year will take the trip further afield to connect with the Moravians of Tanzania.

 

We truly hope this trip will be uplifting and spirit filled not only for the those organising and attending but also for all the people we look forward to meeting along the way. We pray that eveveryone will be kept safe and that from this; new seeds will be planted, faith may grow, and bonds with brothers and sisters from across the world will be made stronger!

 

As you can imagine, this is by no means an easy or cheap venture. The event has been in the planning for some years and every detail of the itinerary and the preparations have been checked and double checked.

 

What we are really looking for from yourselves is a little support towards the finances. Unfortunately bringing just a small group of people together from around the world is highly expensive. Most of the costs are supplied by the provinces who are sending delegates but anything we can do to raise as much money as possible means there is a less required from the Unity and future projects or areas they support.
