Morag's Top Surgery Fund (Let's Yeet the Teet)

Hi there! My name is Morag, and I am a transmasculine non-binary person. This page has been set up to help raise money for me to get top surgery - a gender-affirming surgery that removes breast tissue. Many (but not all) trans and non-binary people seek this sort of medical treatment to help alleviate gender dysphoria and increase gender euphoria. I believe that this surgery will help me feel more at home in my body and improve my health and well-being.

I am seeking private healthcare even though the NHS provides gender-affirming healthcare. This is because wait times are beyond ridiculous, with an initial consultation offered after 3-5 years of being on the waiting list. It is also sometimes slightly more challenging for non-binary people to be treated. In my case, I cannot change my sex marker (as the government doesn't legally recognise non-binary identities) and don't wish for a name change. Therefore, I hope to seek private help.

My fundraiser will include costs for consultations and assessment appointments, the surgery itself and hospital stay (as well as coverage for any emergency situations). Anything that you can give is greatly appreciated, and if you can't give anything, I'm thankful to anyone who can share this fundraiser.
