Missionaries of the Poor

Fr Ho Lung  founded Missionaries of the Poor in Jamaica in 1981 and his good work is now spread over 11 cities across the world. What makes this organization very special is how self-less and committed the missionaries are to supporting the underprivileged with LOVE, FAITH, HOPE, plus food, shelter, clothing, and physical aid. Leading up to the trip in february 2016 i raised $10,300 because I believe in what they do and I know all the proceeds go directly to support wellbeing of the people they provide full time care for. What is most captivating about this missionary, is their donation of spiritual growth. We often forget that, food, clothing and shelter does not feed the soul. They provide faith, prayer, hymns and LOVE to keep their souls nourished.

This fund has been set up to raise donations for the poor, disabled,  and abondoned people they care for. The age group is from babies to very elderly.   Your donation would be greatly appreciated by the missionaries but mostly, the poor, weak and abondoned people on the otherside of the world, in Jamaica.

Up to date, the $10,300 raised and donated has been spent on the orphaned disabled babies and childrens they care for to supply them with medicine, nappies, hot water and medical aids. But more is needed as most of the children have cerebral palsy and are in need of much medical and rehabilitation equipment.
