Hi my name is Kearston,

and Moose isn’t just my dog.

He’s the one who helped me through some of the hardest moments of my life. When I found him, I didn’t realize how much I needed him. But somehow this goofy, loving dog healed parts of my heart and soul that I didn’t even know were broken.

Now Moose is the one who needs help.

He was recently diagnosed with a large tumor on his heart, and the treatment that could save his life is more than I can afford on my own. I’m doing everything I can to fight for him the same way he’s always been there for me.

I never expected a dog to change my life the way Moose did.

When Moose came into my life, I was going through one of the hardest periods I had ever experienced. He became more than just a pet — he became my best friend, my family, and in many ways my soul dog.

Moose has taught me so much about the small things in life. The joy of being outside. The peace of a quiet walk. The comfort of simply sitting together and enjoying the moment. He reminds me every day to slow down and appreciate life.

I always promised him that once I had the money, we would do so many things together. We would travel, go on adventures, camp under the stars, and see the world side by side.

Recently, Moose was diagnosed with a large tumor on his heart that is causing heart failure. Hearing those words broke me. I keep thinking about all the things I promised him that we still haven’t had the chance to do.

But Moose is still fighting. He still greets me with love, still gets excited for food, still wants to be near me. The veterinary oncologist believes there is still a chance to help him through advanced radiation treatment, but the cost is far beyond what I can afford on my own.

Moose saved me when I needed it most. He helped heal my soul in ways he will never understand.

Now it’s my turn to try to save him.

I’m asking for help so Moose can receive the CT scan and radiation treatment that could give him more time — time to keep enjoying life, time to keep making memories, and hopefully time for us to share the adventures I always promised him.
