If you don’t know Merri you’re missing out in life. She is the world’s most giving individual to grace this world. If you do know Merri at some point in time she has been there for you, or your animal. Many years ago Merri started A Home Fur Now Rescue. Her organization has helped countless animals right here on Long Island get wonderful forever homes, necessary life saving vet care, and a lifelong commitment from the organization. If you’ve called on the organization for help you know Merri’s philosophy - whatever is best for the animal.

Right now Merri’s personal therapy dog is the one in need. As her best friend and rescue partner I am reaching out to all communities to help the one whose never denied any human or animal assistance.

Moose has been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in its current state. He is in need of radiation therapy to shrink the tumor enough to surgically remove it. Merri has put her entire personal life and career on hold to care for Moose who is partially paralyzed at the moment.

While in great spirits, Moose and Merri have a very long road ahead of them. Any amount is unbelievably appreciated and will help.
