Moose dog recovery fund

UPDATE: We are still raising money for mooses surgery and expenses. As you can see from social media we have a few big things going on right now and this is definitely an unexpected expense but still hopeful to raise the money needed for moose. Please share and like the post… we will keep everyone up to date on moose and keep uploading pics!!! Have a great day yall 

UPDATE: The goal has been move to the goal that we have come together from what we were told at the places, the first 5800 is the emergency bill, the second is for pre care post care and surgery and hospitalization  which could be from 6000-12000 its all unknown… until he is in placement…

UPDATE: still looking for information because they still hit and ran but Id just rather know why and we are choosing to no longer press chargers at this time.... We just wanna know who leaves some ones pet after you hit them?
My 10 month old puppy Moose was senselessly shot in the face by someone on Christmas Eve. Moose is the sweetest boy and does not have a mean bone in his big body. Instead of spending his first Christmas with his family, Moose is fighting for his life. He is stable, but will have a long recovery ahead. We are looking at many surgeries and at this time everything is new and unknown.. At this time we know his entrance was thru his mouth from the bottom it went in and the rest for that is unknown at this time. He has severe damage to his jaw and his teeth many fractures and severe damage to his Nasal cavity. With this being said financial assistance would help would be appreciated. Usually we just take care of it ourselves but times are tough right now we had a 6000 emergency surgery for are eldest dog in January July my wifes moms dog was stolen and now MY DOG is fighting to make it another day. This year has been rough on us but we will get through this and anything given will be paid forward. Kristina and I have had our sets of trials since we met but this one is the hardest for sure. again we aren’t ask for handouts it’s more of a helping hand for us in this strange time. (Like who shoots a dog) But Seeing I have been out of work since august (do side work until I get hired) due you a hand injury they are unable to fix… My wife is already working two jobs to make ends meet… not to mention the other trials we are facing right now… This literally came at us and the WORST time… I am asking for any help financial or even just one prayer for my moose boy!! Anything will help my sweet little boy…. Even just love we appreciate it… We feel like we are in a twilight zone right now…

incident happened on Carters neck road between the two houses one next to Riley one across from it.. it happened 1:30/3:00 12/24/2021 any information even little info is helpful…. Offender is unknown.. moose 10 mth male border collie/catahola shot in bottom of the mouth currently at coastal referral ! Please thank these people they have been absolutely amazing and my wife is annoying so trust me they want him to heal fast ☺️ We hope all of you reading this a merry Christmas and a happy new year and sending much love for just reading our story.
