Hello all,
Meet Moose! Moose will be turning 4 on January 25th, 2017. He's our silly little man, full of energy and personality. However, about six months ago we started to notice he wasn't acting quite himself. We then started to notice he wasn't putting pressure on his back left leg. Throughout these last past six months we've been to seven different vets. We weren't going to stop until we found out what exactly was happening, and made sure we found out a resolution. Some vets said he was fine, all prescribed medicine, a few recommended outrageous procedures, but no one solved anything. We refuse to feed our dog medicine every day to mask the pain, and we refuse to allow him to lose the ability to be his active happy self. After many x-rays, tests, and a bone scan, we finally have some answers. WE ALSO FINALLY FOUND A GOOD VET (Woohoo!!!), who isn't trying to rip us off or ignore it, and actually knows what he's doing! Moose will be getting quite a few things done to his knee. He'll be getting an implant in his knee that will stabilize it, along with they will be reconstructing the ligaments in and around his knee. This whole process has cost us a good penny, many pennies, you can say we're knee deep in vet bills. That's where we need help, help in assuring Moose gets the best treatment, and we get him up and going again. We're a young couple and one of us, Anthony, will be out of work for approximately a month and a half, touring the U.S. with his band Sleeptalk. Due to these previous expenses and our current situation, we ask for help. Anything, helps. We sincerely appreciate your support. Moose is our best little friend, and we just want the best for him! Love, Moose, Anthony & Sage.
