Moo’s neurologist and medical bills

I’m sure some of you have wondered why we haven’t been posting lately. Our 7 year old Moo has had a ruff couple days with vet visits with severe pain in his back legs that aren’t allowing him to get around like he usually does. After a steroid shot and pain meds , we had to take Moo back to the vet because his neck locked and he was shivering with very little mobility in his back legs. The Vet told us he would have to see a neurologist for further tests with possibility of surgery. We were told his symptoms reflect Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), which is a degenerative disease that can affect your dog's spinal cord and causes a range of painful mobility issues.We are reaching out to everyone in hopes that we can get Moo the proper help he needs as soon as possible and first step is with this MRI that will cost anywhere between $3,800-$5,000.
