The Odyssey of the Mind team from Moore Square Magnet Middle School needs your immediate support to attend and compete at the 2019 Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at Michigan State University on May 22nd. Any funds donated will go directly to lodging, food and transportation costs for the students and the coaches of the team.
In order to compete in Michigan all team members must be present in East Lansing on the 22nd of May and be present until the 25th of May. Our first payment to attend is due April 24th. Please donate before that date if at all possible to ensure the funds reach the team in time.
The team has been working since August of 2018 on their problems and recently our team qualified at the Regional finals NCCU in Durham and the State finals held at ECU in Greenville last weekend. Thank you for your generous support in helping us fund this competition.
The students at Moore Square Magnet Middle School, their parents, the administration and staff thank you so very much.
This GoFundMe is for 7 students and 2 adult coaches that have worked hard all year with limited resources. Please help us be able to compete this year by making sure our most economically challenged families do not experience a heavy financial burden to be included in this once in a lifetime opportunity for their children.
