"Moonflower" A New Album By Taylor Armstrong

So, what's the Story?

The moonflower is a symbol of hope. A light in the dark. A flower in the night. The moonflower doesn’t blossom in the sunlight. It blossoms & stretches toward the light of the moon. It proves to me that beauty can come out of the darkest of seasons if we just keep stretching toward the light. 

My album “Moonflower” is meant to be a light in the dark. It will extend to the darkest playlists, audiences & radio stations — touching the lonely in the night & broken-hearted. Unlike my typical lyrical content, I’ve felt the grace & permission from God to sing lyrics about love, romance & a few other lighter topics. I believe this new music will be both versatile & marketable. While keeping the core values of purity & faith intertwined with each melody & lyric that I sing. Setting me up for future releases with possible record label deals. 

I’ve teamed up with music producer Abe Yellen to help accomplish this goal. We started working on this album back in September 2020 and it’s been a breeze working with him. We’ve got about 8 songs almost ready for mixing/mastering as of today. One of which has already been sent to mixing/mastering and is expected to be out everywhere in March/April 2021. 

I believe that Abe has helped bring out the sound in my heart that I’m looking to capture. I can vouch that since working with him since September, I’ve already gotten that, plus more.

What’s This Going To Cost?

It will cost a total of USD 8000. This covers production & mixing/mastering.

You might have asked yourself — “why not record it yourself?” Here’s a reason why I don’t work alone. As MOSTLY a songwriter I have my limitations in production. Remember, I started all of these songs at home in my little studio. I reached my limitations & Abe (my co-producer) helped me finish the songs. Which I really believe will be very marketable & reach thousands.

What's Next?

The songs are almost all finished as of today & all that needs to happen next is for the project to be paid for. I fully expect to make all this money back as well. I believe in this music. I think with the way my music is going this can land on some really big playlists and reach thousands more. I’m already at 75,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone and that seems to be increasing every month. I’ve managed to make the most I ever have on monthly streaming revenue as of the last couple of months.  

Thank you for being so supportive. It will take some time to get all the songs mixed/mastered but they will all be released and available for streaming through the year 2021. Though you will have the full album in your hands I will be releasing singles monthly throughout the year. Studies show that this is the best way to release music in 2021. Upon fully funding I will be sending the project to you first. As of lately, I’ve been submitting my music to youtube channels with nearly 1 million subscribers and getting on playlists with over a million streams.

Final thoughts

This project is a step of faith. A "pursuit" of the heart. A journey of discovery, passion, identity & purpose. The fact that God has blessed me with getting to where I am now in my music career & life is beyond words. I am seeing the prayers of my twenties answered before my very eyes. 

I always say, “it’s only up from here.” I haven’t gotten here without the support, encouragement & love of those around me. Thankful to not be alone in this. 

I truly believe in this album but it won’t happen unless the money comes in. So, let's make this thing happen. Let's be a flower in the night, a light in the darkness, a symbol of hope — a moonflower.
