My name is Daniel Scherl, and I’m the creator of Memories of a Moonbird, a podcast that has meant the world to me and to many listeners. Five years ago, I had to put the show on hold due to family medical issues that needed my full attention. Thankfully, those challenges are now behind us, and I’m finally able to bring Moonbird back. The original series produced 64 episodes and reached thousands of listeners, generating more than 20,000 downloads and connecting people through stories of exploration, connection, and reflection on the human experience.

Now I want to take the show to the next level by relaunching it as a video podcast!

The goal of this campaign is to raise enough support to produce a brand new season of Memories of a Moonbird with at least 10 beautifully crafted episodes that blend meaningful conversations with engaging visual storytelling. Moving the show into a video format will allow these stories to reach a much wider audience while preserving the heart and soul that made Moonbird special in the first place. Your support will help cover the real costs of producing the show, including filming, editing, audio mixing, hosting, and the many hours required to research guests, work with them, and carefully craft each episode.

This campaign will allow me to produce at least 10 new video episodes of Memories of a Moonbird. Each episode takes many hours of preparation, recording, editing, and post-production to bring these conversations to life.

At roughly $2,800 per episode, your support directly helps fund filming, editing, audio mixing, post-production, and the work required to research guests and craft each story with care.

If the campaign exceeds the goal, additional funds will go directly toward producing more episodes and expanding the reach of the show.
