Moon Valley family home hit by drunk driver.

Our house was hit by drunk driver on April 26th at around 1:15 in the morning. The Ford F-250 was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the road and hit the house entering my son's bedroom where he was sleeping, showering him in glass, bricks and stone. Physically, everyone and pets are ok, and for the most part escaped unharmed, however, the house has taken substantial damage. The bulk of the issues start with the bedroom where the truck hit, shifting of the roof, transfer damage along the entire back of the house bricks, electrical damage leading to a quickly controlled fire, foundation damage, and more to come as work begins soon. We are going to be displaced from the house during the repairs that will include the demolition of rebuild of the back half of the house.

This is the third time in seven years that we have had a car or truck hit our wall and house. The security measures to defend my sons room, the home and property exceed our financial reach. I am reluctantly asking for donations to help cover these expenses and additional cost for the repairs and associated losses.
