Do you want to join us in making a difference? We are raising funds to help provide Moon Cups (sustainable and reusable period products) to women and girls from Matandani Primary School and the local area in Zomba, Malawi. After volunteering at the school last year, we were inspired to provide further support to the local women, who currently have no access to period products. Periods greatly affects girls absenteeism in school. After surveys and discussions with women and girls in the school we found that 99.9% of those surveyed would use moon cups if available and would recommend to others. Not only would the provision of Moon Cups help the girls personally, but also with their education. We will be returning to Matandani this August to bring over the Moon Cups. Any support is greatly appreciated and will go directly to supporting the local women of Matandani!
