On November 2, I’ll be running the New York City Marathon (my first ever!) - not just for the challenge, but for a cause that’s reshaped how I see kindness, courage, resilience, and what it means to care.

My Goal: Raise $10,000 for ACF Animal Rescue, an organization that gives second chances to animals who never stopped hoping for one.

Why I’m Running for ACF Animal Rescue

At ACF Animal Rescue in Karachi, I met animals who had every reason to give up - yet hadn’t. Dogs, cats, donkeys, monkeys, birds (some scarred, limping, or blind) still reached out for affection, still wagged their tails. What I felt in that space wasn’t sadness. It was pure resilience and hope.

ACF’s small but mighty leads with heart and operates with discipline - proving that compassion done right is both love and excellence in action.

I’ve had the privilege to work closely with ACF over the last few years, and they’ve taught me that kindness is a muscle - and running this marathon is how I’m choosing to strengthen mine.
