Moody Mission Trip to Uganda

Dear friends and family,
This past year God had graced me with the opportunity to attend the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Through various experiences and situations, I discovered that God was calling me to support His people with a servant’s heart. This spring break I have the wonderful opportunity to go Uganda, through the Moody Bible Institute, to support the community by sharing the gospel. Uganda is in central east Africa is widely considered to be one of the poorest countries in Africa. This country is greatly in need of support and the one thing that can bring long lasting faith: The Gospel. Although the Christian population is 84% of the country, there is still a need to support these believers in sharing the Gospel with those around them.
Throughout this trip we will be travelling around the country of Uganda visiting many key cities. We will start our trip in Kampala by visiting the local church and orphanage. From Kampala we will move around the country traveling from village to village in hopes of support the believers in the communities. We will engage in different forms of ministry, such as preaching, teaching, and evangelizing to the locals and churches. This is a tremendous trip that the Lord has presented our group and it is only by his hand that we may hope for it to succeed and bring glory to God.
I am so excited about this opportunity but I need your help! Would you consider partnering with me by donating and praying for this trip? The trip is March 8 through March 23, 2019.Through the passion I have for missions and for God’s people, to go out there I will need to fundraise $2500to go on the mission trip. I hope that you can give the gift of support so that I can be a servant of Christ for the people of Uganda this Spring.
This trip would be impossible without the work of God, so I greatly ask that youpray for all of us! Please pray for me, that God will use me on this trip and that I will grow in my faith. I want to have a heart for his people, and I pray that he may show me how to love the lowly and the meek. Also, pray for the people of Uganda. Please pray for the unbelievers there, that the Lord would soften their hearts and do the work of salvation in their lives.
As well, pray that the Lord will continue to work in the believers there, that we may be an encouragement to them.
