Hi everyone. I'm Tim and my girlfriend is Haley. We have two cats, Monty and Fitz, and a dog, Scout. They are our children, straight up.

 

On Monday 11/15, a day after Haley took a trip home to her parents, her cat Monty needed to go to the ER late at night as he was having trouble urinating the later half of the day and kept straining excessively to try and do so. They told us his urethra was shut and released him with medicine to calm it down so he could pee again on his own. Things seemed okay all week, but fast forward to Saturday evening, 11/20, and he was still straining, now with blood present. So back to the ER Haley went (she's such a trooper). He had an emergency procedure done to remove crystals in his bladder, endless tests done and is now recovering at the vet, expected to be released later Sunday evening. $4000 later, we are now in a position where we are asking for help from the world to split the vet bills with us. Anything helps, truly.

 

We have a hard time asking for help, so we're trying to think of a way to offer something in exchange for donations. Maybe we'll make a Monty keychain, or a hat, or something.
