Edit- Macy is home! Unfortunately the medical bills were far more than I expected. Macy was quilled as well as Monty. We have had a total of 7 emergency visits and two regular appointments. There has been sedation, positive testing for lymes, x-rays, abrasions, severe tick removal, positive testing for urinary infection and multiple medications given to them. They still aren't done with their medical treatment and will continue to need follow up care for a few months at the very least.
Thousands of you have followed our story. The amount of support, love, patience, help and understanding that we have received from so many people is overwhelming but in the best way and I truly could never thank you enough. Monty has returned home and needed to get emergency treatment at the hospital, Macy is on her way to making it home and she will need immediate emergency treatment as well. Unfortunately the bills are extremely high and we are having a hard time affording all of it which is why I'm asking for help. Monty's bill alone will cost $2,000 and that's just his first visit. We have no idea what Macy holds in-store for us quite yet. We are also in the process of moving into a new home so any help is greatly appreciated.
