My name is Alysha, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my grandmother, Monty Gray; a woman who means the world to me and so many others.

My grandma has always been the heart of our family. For the past 25 years, she’s dedicated her life to raising me and my siblings and cousins, caring for her family, serving her church community, and running her business, MRG Cleaning Services. She’s the kind of person who gives without hesitation, who loves without limits, and who shows up for everyone. No matter what she’s going through herself she always shows up.

Recently, she received a diagnosis that completely shook our family. It was completely unexpected, and now she’s facing a long road of treatment, healing, and recovery. As she steps away from work to focus on her health, our family is doing everything we can to support her—but we can’t do it alone.

We’re raising funds to help cover medical bills, ongoing treatments, and basic living expenses for the next few months. My grandma has always carried so much on her own, but now she needs a village to carry her.
