Monty (my dad)has fought the good fight the past 2 months.  After testing positive for Covid and his symptoms becoming increasingly worse, he still managed to remain home with his family until the day after Christmas.  This was the point when we all realized there was something more than just Covid going on.  Monty ended up spending 5 days in the hospital where he found out his heart was causing the most issues.  He has a condition called Atrial-Fibrillation.  This means the upper and lower chambers of his heart do not beat in the same rhythm, which causes his heart to beat too fast.  He is trying so hard to return go his normal routines, but medication hasn't been working.  Bottom line, he needs a specialized procedure.
This procedure is performed by a specialist outside Monty's insurance plan which means he will be responsible for a large deductible and a hefty percentage of everything else.  This includes everything (anesthesia,medical care, potential hospital stay, medications, etc.)
I thought I would start this GoFund me because Monty (my dad) has done so much for me and everyone around us I thought just maybe we could do something for him.  Can we try and show him some love!!!
