Help Build the Montreal Cat Museum!

Hi everyone,

I’m making a bold leap—from corporate to cats!

This summer, I’m stepping away from my eCommerce and logistics career to pursue a dream: building Le Miaousée, a cat museum based in Montreal. It’s a passion project rooted in community, education, and compassion for animals.

Why a cat museum?

Montreal is a city full of cat lovers—but also facing a serious feline welfare crisis. Overcrowded shelters and abandonment are everyday realities. Le Miaousée will be more than a museum—it’ll be a playful and heartwarming space that brings people together to learn about and advocate for our feline friends.

We’ve already hosted three community events and pop-up exhibits, and in September we’re launching our biggest one yet, Meowtreal: The History of Montreal’s Cats. It will showcase cats’ roles in the city’s past and present—through stories, artifacts, and interactive activities.

I’m pouring my heart (and savings) into this, and I’d love your support to help make this vision real. Your donation will help fund venue setup as well as exhibit and educational materials for the September event. Post-September, we will be focused on opening doors to a permanent space (ETA autumn 2026).
