A month without income while recovering

Hello everyone. I had an MRI on my heart that showed an aneurysm in my left ventricle. I basically have a hole in my heart. As most of you may know already, I inherited my dad's deadly heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It seemed to be stable for the past five years, but has now progressed. I will require an ICD implant (a defibrillator implant) that will keep me alive should I have a catastophic cardiac event.

I will be out of work for a month recovering with no pay and as hard as it is for me to ask for help, it's absolutely necessary at this time.

Surgery is scheduled for Friday, January 26th at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
