I recently lost several days of work due to a busted leaking water heater in my apartment. My apartment houses the water heater and boiler for the entire building and it sprung a leak and the landlord has to execute immediate repairs.

I work remotely from home doing emergency dispatch for roadside services and I am not paid for sick or days missed because of such occurrences.

As someone who lives alone, has no close family, and have always had to support myself on a low wage full time job, these days of last wages for the repairs are catastrophic for utilities, food, and medication.

I’m asking the community to help me over this period to help me recoup the losses to cover my utilities, food, medication, and replace a damaged pair of prescription glasses.
