Dear Families,
Our Montessori Center in Morro Bay is such a special place! We are fortunate to have wonderful teachers/staff who are extremely dedicated to the growth, education, and well-being of our children. While most of our in-class programs are funded by the state, many special Science Technology Engineering Art and Math (STEAM) projects, writing lessons, and fun activities we offer each week for our K-5th grade students are not fully funded. They are only possible because of fundraising support from our families.
Would you like our students to continue to receive hands-on learning opportunities in our veggie and native plant gardens? Would you like your students to raise frogs and trout in the classroom this year while learning about animal life cycles? Do your students enjoy exploring engineering challenges, marine biology, geology, chemistry, space study, rocketry and physics as well as taking action to help solve real-world problems? These are key foundational pieces that help keep students excited about school and focused on making the world a better place.
Please join Montessori Parent Group (MPG) in raising money to fund our beloved STEAM teacher, Ms. Sarah Bryant, so she can continue to provide these wonderfully beneficial programs at our center. She donates so much of her time, personal supplies, and expertise to the school. This is your opportunity to help keep these unique and relevant, project-based learning opportunities available for all of our students every week!
We would like to close the funding gap by raising $10,000. Please help us reach our goal!
Thank you so much for your support,
MPG
