On August 18, the Montellese family home was destroyed by the devastating Carmel wild fire. While Chris, Kristina, and their 3 little boys were able to escape safely, all of their belongings and personal possessions were destroyed. They are left with only the clothes on their backs.

We are raising funds on their behalf to help fund the purchase of clothes, shoes, school supplies, and lodging, anything that will make their lives feel remotely normal during this traumatic time.

My sister and brother-in-law work tirelessly for their family and community. Being the strong, proud woman that she is, my sister didn't want me to set up this fund on her behalf. But, being victims of the destruction of fire, she and her family are facing immense emotional stress and financial costs. We hope this fund will help alleviate some of the challenges that they are now facing as they try to rebuild their lives.

In these difficult times, we know that many people are facing hardship and we are extremely grateful for any donation.
