Monte Hull Memorial Scholarship Fund

Our dear friend and family member, Monte Steven Hull passed away on May 15th, 2021 due to complications from a tragic accident. We are raising money to establish a scholarship in his name for Hood River Valley High School seniors.

Whether you knew Monte for decades or mere minutes, you were "family" to him. He welcomed everyone with open arms and a massive smile. We all gravitated to Monte and basked in his positive energy. Simply put, he was the sun we all orbited around.

Monte's selfless acts and desire to help others continued even upon his passing, when he provided a new chance for life to three people through organ donation. As his family and friends, we want to carry on the spirit of Monte by creating an annual scholarship that will provide funds to HRVHS seniors as they pursue their dreams at a college or university.

Given that Monte LOVED sports, we will likely look to connect this scholarship with high school athletes in need of additional support. We will be working to create this scholarship with the Hood River Education Foundation.  The goal is to make this an annual scholarship. All net proceeds collected from this effort will be transferred to the scholarship in Monte's name.
