Monte Anderson's Funeral
Donation protected
Monte was a loved Dad and Brother. He has been struggling with many health issues in the last year. Some of these being cirrhosis of the liver, emphyzema, renal failure and even had his big toe amputated. He spent the last few months in a rehab facility after getting his toe amputated learning how to walk again and being seen by many doctors. While he was in this facility his health was slowly declining. But, there was hope in the last month because his health did start to improve and they even took him off dialysis for this reason.
He spent Christmas Eve with all of his family. He got to see his kids and grandkids and all three of his brothers in one place. He received an Xbox 360 and was so happy. When he got to the facility that night he spent some time with a friend and told him about how great his day was and that he was so excited for Christmas Day to see his family again.
His youngest daughter Kasey went to pick him up on Christmas and the nurses said that he was non responsive and that they could not get him awake. EMS showed up shortly after and due to Monte having a DNI, (do not intubate) and after thirty minutes of CPR he was not breathing on his own and had passed on.
Monte's three children and loved ones he left behind are heartbroken. The family is in need of assistance with paying for the expenses associated with the bereavement process as Monte had no life insurance or any arrangments made for this situation. The family truly would appreciate any financial help.
The family will meet with the funeral home on Monday to make arragements and will know more then.
