Montana Get Top Surgery!

Hello! My name is Montana, and I am reaching out to seek your support in my journey toward top surgery. Although there's no more than a mosquito bite to remove, it's time to say goodbye.
To provide some context, my gender identity has been a significant challenge throughout my life. From a young age, I identified more with traditionally masculine traits, expressing a desire to be seen as male by the age of five (this was my wish sitting on Santa's lap in Kindergarten In front of all peers and parents). By the age of twelve, I came out as gay, but as I grew older, I increasingly felt a sense of disconnect from my peers. This led to years of hiding my true self due to fear of judgement.
Fortunately, over the past few years, I have been lucky enough to share my journey with someone who encourages me to embrace my authentic self. For the first time, I have openly identified as transgender without fear of rejection, which has empowered me to share my story with all of you.
These past years have been the most trans-formative. I have made significant changes, including cutting my hair short, growing body hair, adjusting my pronouns, packing and using binders. While these measures have helped to some extent, I continue to experience discomfort and dysphoria related to my chest. I am eager to feel at home in my body and believe that top surgery will be a crucial step in that journey.
Unfortunately, as you may be aware, this procedure is not covered under Medicare (thanks Albanese), which means I will be responsible for the costs, including recovery time off work. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate any financial support you can offer, no matter how small, to help make this surgery become reality.
I am excited to share this experience with you. Let the next step of my journey begin!
Please feel free to share around!
