My name is Krystal Brodeen, and my sister Megan Strong is the owner of the Montana Cafe, located in downtown Cook, MN. Cook was recently devasted by a flood that filled the Cafe with over a foot of water. The water has since receded, but the damage done to the building is severe and has forced us to close the restaurant for the foreseeable future. This not only is disappointing for our customers, but also our Cafe family of employees. Our busy season had only started and this unfortunately leaves some without work (and their favorite food!).

With the uncertainty of the future of the business and building, and with request from those that want to help, we've humbly started this fundraiser to help cover costs of the restoration or renovation of the Cafe and those helping bring it back to life.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to those that have helped already these past few days, whether it was bailing out water, bringing in sand, cleaning, or just offering support. We are so appreciative of our small community and those that care about the Montana Cafe and Cook.
