Monster's Final Journey: A Home Farewell

A Proper Farewell for the Monster
As many of you know, Monster has had a good life. He’s traveled the world and been my constant companion for nearly 20 years. He started his journey as a rescue in Missoula, Montana in 2005 when I adopted him and his sister, Princess.
Over the years, he moved around the country and then Europe with me (more than once) and was always ready to welcome the many new friends we encountered along the way.
The last couple of years, he has slowed down. In 2022, he had surgery to remove some potentially cancerous tumors. The surgery was a success; however, several months later, he began having focal seizures.
The seizures were few and far between, and we were able to manage them and have the pleasure of keeping him with us a little longer.
However, as hard as it is, I recognize it is now time to send him over the rainbow.
That being said, I don’t want his last moments in this world to be scared at a veterinarian’s office. He gets very anxious and visibly unhappy when he has to go to a vet these days… I would love to be able to send him off at home surrounded by love.
The cost of doing this is somewhat prohibitive, so I am asking for a small donation to reach my goal of giving Monster the send-off he deserves.
