Monster's departure & memorial fund

The one herself, Queen of All Everything, Supreme Overlord, my furrever familiar, Monster has had an immensely rich life where she has been loved by all who've had the chance to spend time with her over these last 21ish years. She has been a constant amidst the chaos of my life these 18 years, half of my life actually. From living at PSK, Rugg Rd, along with a few others who have been able to foster her over the years to spending the last 10 or so years with me in various Boston neighborhoods & the surrounding area to now her last few months in peace in a new but quiet and healthy home.

But as all beings do, she has aged...and drastically so within the last few months. She's been deaf for a few years but now her cataracts have made her blind. Her kidneys are struggling significantly more since finding out she has kidney disease about 3 years ago and I know it's painful for her. It's so immensely heartbreaking to see this happening. This combination has lead to choosing to say adieu for now until we meet on the other side.

The appointment cost is generally around $500 from the few vets that I have spoken with. Then there's the cremation, which seems to be a base of $300 for a private cremation. The choices are overwhelming. This whole thing is honestly, extremely overwhelming. I haven't set a date yet but it will be within the next week. As we all know, life is a lot. With an unfortunate series of events (a major flair up in my neck leading to intense migraines, getting slowly sick from mold in my apartment which both meant working less but eventually was able to move out) within in the last 8 or so months has made it difficult for me to be able to drop this significant amount for the at-home visit and private cremation. I'm not great at asking for help when I'm overwhelmed. But Monster has and always will deserve the best, so if you could help make that possible it'll mean more than you could know.
