In Loving Memory Of Peter Gerow.

I Write this tonight with a Heavy Heart, as for me, these Words make this all the more real through the Shock.. As some of you may have heard, a few days ago in the early hours of Monday Morning- Monson lost another Son. We lost another Brother.. We lost another Friend. We've lost a Prominent Fixture in this Town. An irreplaceable Piece of us all. Peter Francis Gerow- One of my (and if you're from Monson, probably yours too) oldest Friends, has Passed away. GoFundme says to tell our Story.. But how do you summarize 20 plus Years of Memories and Friendship with someone you consider a Brother, and describe a situation as Tragic as this on this tiny page..? I can't. But for many of you, I wouldn't have too. Because you know Pete already, and we probably have similar stories. My Name is Nicholas Nassar. For More than 20 years I've known Peter.. I Grew up with Him. He was one of the first friends I made after moving to Monson, and I'm Hard-pressed to think of a Memory from Growing up in Monson, that didnt involve Him.. He was a True Friend. A Loving Son and Brother, and a Truly unique individual.. We were all Lucky to know Him ! Peter touched all of our Lives in one way or another, and my Heart goes out too and has broken with, his Family during this senseless Tragedy. Most of you know them well, but Peter's survived by his Parents Joe and Elaine, his little Brother Joey.. And every single other person whose life he has touched. On behalf of the Gerow family, I would like to raise as much money as we can to help cover all funeral Expenses, Possibly a memorial of some type, and just to all around support them during this time of Loss and beyond. If you Live in Monson or ever have, you know the Town is one Giant Family. I've seen us all come together time and time again to help our Neighbors, our Friends, our Families, and everyone in between when we can. Well, we can again now.. I ask that everyone be respectful during these sorrowful times, and would like to add that anything collected will go directly to Peters Father. I will be very open and direct and transparent with the Funds so there are no Questions or concerns.. You will forever be missed Pete.. This Town will never feel the same now without you in it..
