Today, my neighbor Joel Koviak experienced the worst tragedy. The home that he has lived in for most of his life was destroyed in an immense fire on East Colorado Blvd. Joel has lost everything.

Joel is a local gardener. Many of you may recognize Joel , he can be seen all over town in his baseball cap and on his ever-present skateboard. Joel is a very kind and humble neighbor who is always willing to lend a hand.

I know we, as Monrovians, can come together and lend him a hand in his time of need. Anything you can offer is much appreciated. Thank you all for your generosity for my wonderful neighbor Joel.
