Monroe Vikings Baseball Program needs your help!
Donation protected

Since its founding in 1959, Monroe High School has been committed to excellence on the baseball field, producing numerous Los Angeles City Championships and runner-up finishes. Winning the Mid-Valley League and going to the playoffs was once a tradition - almost an annual event.
Over the last two decades, our baseball program has experienced a dramatic decline from a number of reasons. Unfortunately, due to funding cuts within the LA Unified School District and the financial challenges of our school’s demographics, our Viking Baseball program has been left with little or no funding and support from the North Hills community.
Our baseball field, batting cage, practice areas, dugouts and bleachers are in disrepair, requiring thousands of dollars in renovations to bring them up to standard.
Many of our player’s families struggle financially, making it difficult to afford uniforms, cleats and other essential equipment. Additionally, due to these hardships, some players do not have access to three meals a day, which affects both their academic performance and their ability to compete on the baseball field.
In the coming weeks, we will be establishing the Vikings Baseball Booster Club to support our annual fundraising efforts. However, with the season starting this week, we are in urgent need of funding now to ensure our players have the necessary resources to compete!
Our fundraising goal for 2025 is $10,000. This will allow us to buy practice and game balls, hitting nets, replace the wood backstop, and pay for away games not covered by the school budget. This will also allow us to make additional repairs and provide meals and equipment for those in need.
Any donation to the Vikings Baseball Team is greatly appreciated, Your support will make a significant difference in the lives of these young men, both on and off the field.
Thank you for your generosity!
