Monroe man shot & robbed while with his child

Hello, I've had several people reach out to donate money, food & diapers to help care for my daughter Jaedah and grandson baby Dalton. Dalton Pfefferle was shot Dec 30th while outside of his mother's home on 4th street in Monroe. He had baby Dalton in the car and was just getting him out of the vehicle when an unknown man robbed him at gunpoint. Dalton willingly handed his money over and the guy was pointing his gun at him. Dalton said " my son is in the car" and the man pulled the trigger penetrating through his stomach which hit his pelvic bone and part of his bowel. Dalton has a long road of recovery and Jaedah hasn't been back to work since the incident. They are very thankful for the people who have asked to help and I thought it would be easier to collect donations at one place. If you would like to assist in a different way please let me know. More than anything we appreciate the prayers and we really pray that the criminal is caught so he doesn't hurt someone else.

I will also say that Dalton is a kind person and just delivered Christmas presents to 5 families on Christmas eve. He is the first to admit that he isn't perfect but he really has a good heart and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He didn't deserve this. I just want to insert that personally from me because it just breaks my heart to see him like this.
