A dear friend in the IG Peke community needs our help. As many Pekingese parents understand, this wonderful breed can also be quite fragile.

Sweet Monroe is only 3 years old, and she is now facing a serious medical emergency. Her back legs have become paralyzed, and after careful evaluation, the veterinary team and her family have determined that urgent surgery is her best chance at recovery.

Monroe is currently at the veterinary hospital awaiting an MRI and spinal surgery. This is a critical moment for her, and the costs are significant—but so is her chance to walk again with the right care.
