In the early morning hours of Sept 10th, a fire destroyed Greg & Nichole Monnett's home in DuPont. A charcoal grill that was used the evening before is the assumed cause of the fire.

Nichole & Greg have 4 dogs, all accounted for and ok. They also have 15 cats - they had 2 recent litters of kittens. One cat was transported to the vet with severe burns all over its body. They are still missing 7 cats (4 adult cats) and 3 kittens. It is sadly assumed the kittens are deceased. This family will have significant vet bills and a need to replace many personal items.
