Dear Family and Friends,
My name is Monique Scott, and I am a second-year student at the University of Florida, pursuing a degree in Information Systems with a minor in Event Management. I am honored to be participating in the Miss Black and Old Gold Scholarship Pageant with the Theta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, as Contestant #2.
As I walk the path between technology and business, I am guided by my purpose: to highlight and uplift underrepresented leaders. I am passionate about creating and hosting events that provide visibility, empowerment, and growth opportunities for communities that are often overlooked. Through these experiences, I strive to inspire others to recognize their potential, take initiative, and step confidently into leadership roles, showing that leadership is accessible to everyone.
Your support allows me to fully embrace this mission. By supporting me, you are helping to amplify voices, create opportunities, and inspire individuals to see themselves as capable of making a meaningful impact.
With appreciation and purpose,
Contestant #2
