We lost a beautiful person in our family and the sadness is very deep. Monique battled a very aggressive liver cancer and fought that battle for a little over a year. A battle she, unfortunately, lost on May 2nd 2023. Monique was a wonderful mother, grandmother, companion, and friend. It shows in the way her sons have grown up to treat their wives. Not only that but she is also the best mother-in-law a girl could ask for. We know there is not one person who has known her that would or could say they did not like her. Monique raised her children as a single mom and gave all of her love, time, money, and attention to raising her kids. And then later focused all that on her grandchildren and her "Boo" Rick.

We are asking for ones to donate to her memorial and funeral service as this has become an unexpected financial burden on her boys, their families and Rick and this will in turn help them focus more on celebrating the life they had with her and the memories and moments we treasured with her.

Any donations in excess of what is needed to pay for service will be forwarded to the American Cancer Society. We sincerely thank everyone for their generosity.
