Hello my name is dominique rathbone. I'm making this go fund me on behalf of my mother Monique Rathbone who was left for dead. With a heavy heart I'm reaching out to the community for any help you may be able to give. Even if it's just a dollar. Currently my mother is recovering in the hospital with severe injuries to the left side of her body. Early Sunday morning at approximately 1am she was hit by a vehicle while traveling home from her place of employment nearby. She was on Sibley going towards telegraph while traveling with traffic when she was hit from behind resulting in her being thrown into a ditch. My mother woke up wondering what had happened until she quickly realized she was struck by a vehicle. The pain unbearable. She laid there for nearly 9 hours with a punctured lung and multiple broken bones through out the left side of her body. Her left leg is terribly damaged. She tried to get attention from passing vehicles by throwing her items she had with her onto the road. But no one stopped. Thankfully a man walking to work that morning heard her screaming for help. She's is alive by the grace of god, she is a very strong woman, but she has a long road of recovery with an unknown amount of medical bills piling up fast.
